My Dad + I | Ventura, CA

My Dad and I in Ventura.

I don't know where I would be without him. He is my best friend, my protector, my guidance, my motivator. He helps me stay positive even when I'm in the darkest spots. He makes me laugh at everything, no matter how small. He helps me to focus on the important things, the little things many might over look. He helps me stay humble, stay grateful. He keeps me on track and clears my head when it fills with anxiety. I would be so lost without him and all he has done for me.

I'm so thankful he is my Dad and that I've been given the chance to spend so much time with him during my life. I realize that most children don't get the opportunities I have had.

Thank you so much Dad for always taking me to see things, and for giving me so many opportunities you weren't given as a child. All the times we've gone on vacation, done little day-trips, gone out to lunch, and even gone to the store or run other errands. Thank you for telling me stories of your childhood, you have no idea how much I love hearing those.

I love you so much and I enjoy every little moment I've spent with you.

The Wells Wedding | Bend, OR

The day before their wedding, I made a 12 hour and 30 minute drive to my sisters house. Honestly, the 5 North is the WORST. The drive was horrible, nothing to look at but dirt and sticks. But it was so worth it.

They had the most beautiful wedding and we had so much fun. Getting to photograph their wedding was such a privilege and I wouldn't have had it any other way.

At 6 am we started the morning by getting ready with the girls at her house, went to go and take pictures (and stopped for coffee and McDonald's - cue the cute picture of her in the car with chicken nuggets!), and relaxed in her house until the ceremony began. Their wedding ceremony was held in her front yard, under beautiful trees.

*The second to last photo was one I took in front of her house of the sunset the night of her wedding. I might be a little nerdy but that photo takes me back to the moment.

Visiting Oregon was absolutely amazing, but I sure am happy to be back home in California! ;)
