Volkswagen Winter O.C.T.O. Meet | Long Beach, CA

I woke up super early and drove down the Long Beach with my Dad for their annual O.C.T.O. meet. I never used to think of myself as a "car person" but I think this changed my view on that. Going to this was super interesting. I love that I could see the owners' personality through their vehicle. Some were vintage; my favorite was the ambulance. It was a place where you could go and spend the entire morning, or meet up with a group of friends to walk around. Everyone was very friendly - BBQing and obviously enjoying themselves. I'm definitely planning on going again! Following this, we stopped to grab some Krispy Kreme and head to the beach - always a plus!!

The Kalan Wedding | Valencia, CA

And just like that, they're married!! 

Weddings are fun. They're my favorite. End of story. But a super fun wedding party?? Yes please. The second the bride told me their ceremony was going to be Los Angeles Kings themed - I was all in. Favorite hockey team? Even better.

Here's a little bit about what inspired the Kings' theme from the bride's Instagram: 
"In 2012, we won the Stanley Cup and a few weeks later I started dating my now fiancé. This year, I got engaged at Staples Center during the first round of playoffs, got to see them win another Stanley Cup, saw the Cup in person, I'll be at a game the night before my wedding, and of course... Getting married the year we won the Cup. Sigh... I love hockey and I love my Kings."
